From Portugal with a hug. The POP CROSS was a form of sport automobile that appeared in Europe at the beginning of the 70s and catering exclusively to a model automobile. The Citroen 2CV and its derivatives, the Dyane and Mehari.
This evidence of single-brand auto cross were a total success since the first race. This first test was conducted in southern Portugal on 29 and 30 September 1973. Quickly spread virally across the country, giving rise to the national championship until the end of the 80s.
Nowadays this championship still preciste in France, under the name "2cv Cross".
